Skateboard Bushings

Buyer’s guide

Tune your turn with bushings

Bushings are the urethane cushions around a truck’s kingpin. They control how your board turns and how quickly it returns to center.

Softer: Turn more easily, and tend to suit lighter riders or a loose feel.
Harder: Feel more stable, and tend to suit heavier riders or a tighter feel.
Replacing: Worn, cracked, or squashed bushings are worth replacing. Change them in pairs so both trucks feel the same.
