Information used by the social tools
We store draft captions, selected product facts, photo references, review decisions, publication or upload results, and the WordPress user responsible for a decision. When an administrator connects a social account, we store the account identifier, granted permissions, token expiry information and authorization tokens needed to access that account. TikTok’s basic identity permission lets us identify the account being connected. Its upload permission lets us send content as a draft when the account owner explicitly requests an upload.
How we use and share information
These records support caption drafting, human review, account authorization, requested uploads, publication tracking and duplicate prevention. Caption drafting uses our local Ollama service. App credentials and account authorization tokens are encrypted in our WordPress Credentials Vault. The requested caption and photo are sent to the selected social platform only as part of an authorized upload or publishing action. A publicly accessible photo URL may be supplied so that platform can fetch the photo.
WordPress uses cookies to maintain staff sign-in sessions. Our hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser details and request logs to operate and protect the site. Social platforms process information under their own policies, including TikTok’s Privacy Policy. This policy covers the social tools, rather than every shopping, payment or analytics feature on our website.
Access, retention and deletion
Access to account credentials is restricted by WordPress permissions. Draft and review records remain in the site until removed or aged out by the review history limits. Disconnecting TikTok removes its locally stored account tokens and attempts to revoke authorization; you can also remove the app in TikTok’s account permissions. App credentials are retained separately until deleted from the vault. Disconnecting does not delete content already stored on TikTok.
Contact the shop to request access to or deletion of social-tool information associated with your account. We may need to confirm your authority over the account. Security logs, backup copies and records needed for legal or business purposes may remain beyond deletion from the active tool. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page.
